Gurit: David Schofield, Director of Corporate Development and Purchasing, to leave Gurit
Wattwil, January 16th, 2009. Gurit (SIX Swiss Exchange: GUR), a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced composite materials, announces David Schofield’s departure as Head of Corporate Development and Purchasing by the end of March 2009.
David Schofield joined Gurit in 2004 and last served as Director of Corporate Development and Purchasing in Gurit’s Executive Management Team. He has decided to leave Gurit to pursue other professional opportunities outside the Group. Gurit thanks David Schofield for his commitment shown and the contributions to Gurit during the last five years.
Gurit is allocating the responsibility for Corporate Development tasks with the General Management of its three target market areas. A new Manager has been appointed for Purchasing who will report to the CEO Rudolf Hadorn.
