Change in Schaffner Group management
 
Alexander Hagemann takes charge of Global Marketing
 
 
The Schaffner Group (SIX: SAHN) is streamlining management in Global Marketing which, in future, will be led directly by Chief Executive Officer Alexander Hagemann. The change will take effect with the departure of the incumbent Vice President Global Marketing, Christian Stampfer, in the second quarter of 2009.
 
Christian Stampfer has worked in a variety of managerial functions for the Schaffner Group since 1995 and has held the position of Vice President Global Marketing since July 2007. He is leaving the company for personal reasons.
 
The Board of Directors and Group Management would like to thank Christian Stampfer for his great dedication and commitment, in particular during the successful realignment of the Schaffner Group to focus on global business with EMC and power quality solutions, and wishes him every success for the future.
