Von Roll: Stephan Kellmann appointed as new CFO

The supervisory board of Von Roll has unanimously appointed Stephan Kellmann as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Von Roll Holding AG. The 46-year-old manager from Lucerne, who worked for the Mövenpick Holding before, will start the job on 15. September 2010. He will be the successor of the current CFO Markus Scherbel who leaves the company at his own request in order to meet new challenges.

Thomas Limberger, chairman of the supervisory board and CEO: “With Stephan Kellmann a highly recognized financial expert joins our management team. I am convinced that he will successfully handle the upcoming tasks and hence contribute to the further growth of Von Roll.”

Stephan Kellmann is currently the CFO of the Mövenpick Group and is with the company since 2003. Prior to the appointment as CFO in 2007, he was responsible for group controlling und accounting. Earlier, he was Head of reporting systems of the MBT Bauchemie in Zurich. During this time he worked for the parent company Degussa AG in Frankfurt for two years. The expert for reporting systems and controlling started his career as project leader at Eastman Chemicals in Zug.

The supervisory board thanks the leaving CFO: „Markus Scherbel has contributed to the fact that we are on the right track. He has proved his management qualities even in difficult times”, says Thomas Limberger. „The supervisory board regrets that he is leaving. For his future we wish him all the best.”
