Zurich, 8. September 2010. Cicor Group’s Microelectronics Division has signed a two year agreement worth EUR 2 million for a substantial quantity of Thin Film Multi Layer Aluminium Nitride Substrates with multi layer metallization and hermetic vias. These substrates are used in SELEX Galileo-designed Transmit Receive Modules (TRMs) within Electronically Scanned Array (E-Scan) radar systems. This order from SELEX Galileo, a leading player in the defense electronics market, strengthens the position of the Cicor Microelectronics Division in the defense sector. It underpins Cicor Group's position as European leader and internationally recognized partner for thin / thick film and electronics packaging solutions for complex micro-electronic circuits.
