Zurich, December 6, 2011 - André Brütsch is to take over as Head of the Glass Processing Systems business unit from Richard Jakob, who will in future concentrate on special projects as well as the sales and service companies. André Brütsch (born 1958, Swiss, Dipl. Ingenieur ETHZ) has been with the Conzzeta Group for seven years, serving as a member of the business unit management at Bystronic (Sheet Metal Processing Systems). He is in charge of operations at the parent company Bystronic Laser AG and has been head of division operations at the business unit since 2008. André Brütsch was previously engaged in the machine construction sector at Georg Fischer AG so he brings broad managerial experience to his new appointment. He will take up his post as head of the business unit and member of the Group Executive Board of Conzzeta AG on January 1, 2012. His predecessor Richard Jakob has decided to step down from his position as head of the business unit for reasons of age, but will remain with the company. In future, he will take charge of various special projects and for the time being will continue to oversee the sales and service organization. The Board of Directors and Group Executive Board wish to thank him for his services to the business unit and welcome the fact that he will continue to support the company's development with his valuable experience. Conzzeta Group is an internationally active Swiss holding company with broadly diversified businesses and approximately 3,400 employees worldwide.
