Following the opening of branch offices in Poland, Turkey and Brazil during the past year, the expansion into Switzerland, as a further component of the internationalisation strategy, represents the starting signal for success in the year 2012. Roger Wassmer becomes Country Manager Wassmer will assume the management of the newly-opened zanox branch office in Zurich and of the Swiss zanox team, which was previously controlled from the Berlin headquarters. The operative focus for Wassmer (39) will be to expand new customer business on both the advertiser and publisher sides. The Swiss-certified Marketing Manager hails from Publimedia AG, where he worked as Head of Consulting. Prior to this, Wassmer was responsible for the business of OmniMedia AG as its CEO and, thanks to his earlier career stations as Marketing Manager at EurotaxGlass and as the Managing Director of Car4you, can call upon wide-ranging expertise in the online sector and automobile industry. With the opening of the branch office in Zurich and the nomination of Roger Wassmer as Country Manager, zanox is offering Swiss e-commerce providers the full service for performance advertising with immediate effect and giving its customers optimum support in expanding their existing sales channels and tapping into new ones.
